Cita Rasa Prima Indonesia Berjaya (CRP Group) is an Indonesia based local food F&B chain. CRP group has 5 brands currently namely Nasi Goreng Rempah Mafia, Warunk UpNormal, Bakso Boedjangan, Sambal Khas Karmila and UpNormal Coffee Roaster with 71 outlets in 19 cities across Indonesia. Founded in October 2013, with their first brand Nasi Goreng Rempah Mafia, the perfect blend of founders with each founder having expertise in marketing, branding & design, product development, operations, public relations, finance & tech, and overall administrational background, the company has accelerated its growth over 3x year-on-year since last years. The group currently serves over 35,000 consumers every day across all its outlets and have plans to serve over a million consumers per day across all brands all outlets, and hoping to achieve this in the next 5-7 year time period.

Nirmal Rajaram comes from a finance and risk management background. Having done his bachelor’s in commerce and MBA in General Management and Finance, he started his career as Senior Risk Analyst at India’s 2nd largest software exporter (Infosys), then moved to Indonesia in 2006 and ever since has served as CFO for manufacturing company based in Bandung, Indonesia and mining & logistics companies based in Indonesia & Southern Africa. In 2014, Nirmal setup his consulting firm and has been advisory to Boards of several manufacturing, mining, and property development companies based in Indonesia. Though Nirmal has always been a working professional since the start of his career, his passion has always been F&B. His extensive research and knowledge from F&B companies worldwide, his strong understanding of Indonesia markets and business culture (having spent 11 years in Indonesia) and his love for food & travel made him connect with the founders of CRP group in 2015. Nirmal joined CRP Group as CEO in 2015 and has since then re-defined the group’s vision and mission, drifting away from the traditional business practices into creating a corporate culture at par with international standards. CRP group aims to bring the Indonesian Local Street Food to the next level by providing, unique food in a clean environment with priority for Food Safety at an affordable price point to the Indonesian middle income consumers
